Add operation failed GPO error

Hello all,

I packaged a program with Admin Studio, and when I try to upload the package to the Group Policy Object in Active Directory, I get the following error listed below. I know that the error has nothing to do with my connection to Active Directory because I am able to upload other packages. This has got to be related to how I packaged it, but I just don't know what to fix. I have searched and searched the web and cant seem to find anyone else having the exact same error. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the message:

"Add operation failed. Unable to update the software installation information in the Active Directory. Make sure that you can communicate with the Active Directory."

Thanks in advance,

DL

Can you use MSIEXEC to install it manually with logging ( /L*v c:\output.log) ? If so, search this log file for problems.

I've had problems like this in the past where Active Directory will not accept a MSI if the REBOOT property has been authored into the Property table.
