"Adobe Acrobat X Professional-10-ENG" is the package ------------- Driver is not getting removed during uninstall---------------------

Hi,

Installing the application will install a driver which doesn't get removed during uninstall.

Had implied the custom action to delete the driver as shown below:

CA Wixard >New exe- stored in binary table
exe file name - browse for dpinst 64 file (no need to add this in your pkg as u r browsing here)
cmd line ->  /U "[INSTALLDIR]adobepdf.inf_x86_neutral_70cb20a3417216e2\adobepdf.inf" /S
return processing - synch (ignres exit code)
inscript exe- immed exec
instal exec seq - keep 1 before the "After removeshortcuts"
install exec conndtion - REMOVE~="ALL"

Have added the driver folder "adobepdf.inf_x86_neutral_70cb20a3417216e2" under Installdir for easy removal of the driver. REBOOT also done.

Any suggestions and corrections will be more obliged.

Need info urgently!!!

Thanks EdT for the response.

No separate ARP entry was created for drivers. I was able to overcome this issue by adding vbscript.

Thanks :)

Have you checked whether there is a separate uninstall for the drivers under Add/Remove programs?  It is not unusual for a single installer to install several modules which have separate ARP entries and must be uninstalled individually.
