Anyone have a script to unpin Edge and Store from the Taskbar on Windows 10 1703?

In our organization we do not use the Windows Store or Microsoft Edge.  But I am not having much luck with a script, GPO, etc. to remove Edge and the Store from the Taskbar.  I was successful at creating a custom default Start Menu layout without any of that on there, but I am having trouble finding a way to get Edge and the Store icons unpinned for all users.  Has anyone found a successful easy way to do this?

  • This was the resource we used to configure our taskbar: http://ccmexec.com/2015/12/customizing-the-taskbar-in-windows-10-during-osd/

We only set Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer. All other shortcuts are handled on the Start Menu. - RyanPersaud 6 years ago
