Anyway to setup an Alert or report when a user is logged off

Is there anyway to setup an Alert or automated report in Kace to notify me when a user gets logged off either via by accident or kicked off.  The reason for this is we have an account we need to be logged in at all times and some of our staff keeps knocking it off and it would be nice for an alert to notify us via email if that happens.  I was hoping the kace could do this.

Turn on auditing??

Use the GPOs to enable it and apply it the specific machine you need to monitor or the user account. You don't want every single user logon/off detail for your domain.

  • Yeah that isnt something the network admin wanted to do. We ended up using a Task on when a certain user gets logged off. - aaronb09 9 years ago
    • that would work ok and slightly better if its a specific machine, rather than enable logging on the whole domain. Glad you have a fix. - Badger 9 years ago
