AutoCad Lt 2002

Apologies if this exists in other threads, but I havent been able to find it.

Thanks to those for package knowledgebase entries:
http://itninja.com/link/autodesk®-architectural-desktop-3.31-object-enabler

but haven't found any info on avoiding the registration process when first run the app. Is this possible?

any suggestions much appreciated.

Do u have any option like do not register on launching the shortcut .

if so try capturing that part alone by clicking the dont register option it will put a registry

entry and you can add it in ur script.

nice thinking, but the options are register now, or use 15 day trial. I'll look into what it creates though, might be able to take a punt on what it creates.

When we depoloyed AutoCAD 2005, we had the same issue. The registry entry we found was at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.1\ACAD-301:409] with the String name of "SerialNumber".
This entry is from AutoCAD 2005, so the key name might be different, but the priciple should be the same. Just look for the name "SerialNumber".
You'll need to register one copy of the application with AutoDesk to get a valid registration code, but once you have it, you can just import the code number into the key on as many other machines as you like.
Let us know if this fixes the issue.

apologies all, was having a brainmelt.
register a single copy and include
{programfilesdir}aclt2002.cfg into your package.

the serialnumber keys are also included, but they are passed in command line or in mst.

apologies again for posting simple problem.
