Did any one repackage Thompson Reuters Velocity Client on Windows 7 successfully ?

The application installs in to C:\Vhayu by default .I am trying to package it in to C:\Program Files\Vhayu in windows 7 to make it work to all users but the short cut does not launch when i package it in c:\Program files.Please advise

  • Sorry I have not... Though usually if shortcuts don't work its a working directory issue or argument issue. If the vendor hard coded the c:\ path then you have no option to support the default install location.

    You can just adjust the rights of the app folder so all users can modify that directory and use the app (if the app requires user to have rights to INSTALLDIR). - dandirk 10 years ago
