EXE file will not run completely

I have set up a simple package to run an exe file on remote machines. The purpose of running the exe file is to check permissions and then create a log file which is placed in a folder out on the server. The push successfully runs the exe (I can see it in the running processes in the remote computer's task manager) however, it doesn't complete nor does it put a log file out in the folder. IF I get on the machine itself and run the exe, it runs flawlessly putting a log file out in the folder and then stops running as it is supposed to.

I am confused as to why when I put it out with SCCM it will not do what it is supposed to but appears to start, but then stall.

Opinions?

Just guessing but it sounds like user permissions. When YOU run your exe you're using YOUR user credentials. When SCCM runs your exe it does not use YOUR user credentials. Check your log files for a permission error.
