Importing User from LDAP, mapping between User attributes and LDAP attributes not listing email
Having issues importing users into KACE to allow users to install software. While going through Settings, User Authentication and documenting 'schedule' import, when I get to the "Define mapping between User attributes and LDAP attributes", in the MAIL drop down, the "Mail" value is displayed.

When I'm working on the process of importing a large amount of users from Settings... Users... Import Users., I get the correct results; however, when I get to step 2, Ldap Uid is mapped to 'objectguid', User Name is mapped to 'samaccountname'. When I choose the drop down for email, the 'mail' value is not displayed. My 'Attributes to retrieve' field is *.
Any help would be appreciated!

On the first page of the "User Import: Schedule" you have to fill the Attributes to retreive with the needed values. Eg.
samaccountname, objectguid, mail, memberof, displayname, sn, cn, userPrincipalName, name, description, wWWHomePage, co, telephoneNumber, mobile, streetAddress, postalCode, l
Now you should be able to change the mapping to "mail"

If I leave it blank or use *, I get a number of fields to choose, seventeen in total, no mail. If I use your example, I get 6 choices. If I type 'mail', I only get distinguishedname??? - ranweb 9 years ago-
By the way, we´re talking about an Active Directory? I´ve tested it in an 2003, 2008 and 2012 Windows Server environment. - aragorn.2003 9 years ago

The amount of lines you specify on the first screen is important. If you set this to 20 but all of the firts 20 objects don't have data in the "mail" field, the "mail" won't be shown
