Most likely there is a firewall or service blocking a required site. https://service.kace.com is a critical one; check http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/solutiondetail?sol=118543 for other important whitelist sites.

It is also possible that your subscription has expired. Patches, Dell Updates, Software Catalog, and other subscription-based items are linked to your license/account and only available to customers with a current maintenance agreement.

You can test internet connectivity very easily- if the news feed on your Home module is not empty, you have connectivity.

  • News feed is emapty in K1000 while Feed is working in K2000 box. Bot boxes sharing the same Internet connection. - raxit.patel 9 years ago

Issue is  resolved. It was a bug in the system 6.0. System Updated to recent server version 6.2 and Internet access is back.
