Kace device assignee
Hi
In Kace, I know there is an automated way for Kace to determine device assignment
and the setting is above in Control Panel. Currently I have it set to Continuous sync which is the default.
If I were to manually assign a device to a person, would it override this automatic continuous sync of the device assignment? Or would the device assignment be changed to whatever the continuous sync finds on the next inventory cycle?

Continuous sync is continuous, so it will always change the assignee based on user logged in. I turned off automatic assignment and we set the assignee manually. Theoretically, technicians assign an owner at time of deployment, but if they don't, I get a report weekly of machines without an assigned user.
