KACE device deleted, deleting the whole asset record
I am deleting the DEVICE from Inventory Tab. Just the device.
After that, it is deleting the whole record. To my knowledge, it should at least show the ASSET record for the one.
Please assist,

Use the Archive future if you want to save the asset history for the device.
Deleting the inventory record should leave the associated Asset record. If you look in assets, view by Device all subtypes, it is easy to see asset records that are not tracked to inventory items, they will not have the inventory name in square brackets, just the asset name.
I would suggest you don’t archive the asset record, unless you have definitely disposed of the device.
Also note that setting the Mia function to auto archive the asset record, can mean that if a device reappears in inventory, it will create a new asset record, which will not be linked to an archive record, so you will end up with only partial asset history.
If your asset record is being deleted, log a support call as that is not correct.
