Office Upgrade 2000 to 2003

Afternoon,
Having a few issues with rolling out Office 2003 to upgrade previous versions of Office 2000/XP. I am testing the Office 2000 first.
I need to uninstall the previous version (to remove Office Pro) and install Office 2003 Standard.

What would be the best way to do this?? Upgrade office to 2003 first, and then remove the previous versions ? uninstall first and then install?

As we are running Exchange 2003, all machines already have Outlook 2003 installed, and this does not need to be updated or removed...

Is there any scripting that I need to use??

Is there amy good web sites that could also aid in packaging? (bariing these wonderful forums)

Thanks in advance

ton182,

Have you had a look at the Office 2003 Resource Kit?

The Customisation Wizard creates a transform file where you can specify the upgrade options as part of the installation.

There are lots of other tools within the Resource Kit that may help with your deployment.

Hope this helps,
