Hi Guys,
Am working on an apps that has private property ALLUSERS=1. i added another ALLUSERS=2 property to overide the other one.

Would it work this way?

A property name with all uppercases defines a GLOBAL property so ALLUSERS=1 and ALLUSERS=2 are both global properties.

Tnx. The problem is when i install the msi through our delivery system, if i logon as an admin it works fine but as a normal user it self-heals over and over again.

Any ideal at all.

Seems that there are user specific settings that are missing that cannot be repaired due to permissions or there may be some temporary files/registry it triggers on. Did you repackage or use a vendor msi?

Look in the event viewer to see what component(s) the repair is triggered by and try to resolve it.

I used transform for a vendor msi. The vendor msi comes also wiv ISScript.

The problem is that vendors often takes for granted that users are local administrators, so you properbly have to open up som directory/file or registry entry so the self-healing can manage to repair the resource.

Use regmon and filemon from sysinternals and search for the "Access Denied" status to investigate what resources you have to raise permissions for.
