Query Returns Mulitple results

I keep running into this, I write a simple query, and I get multiple results, like 30 entries for <client1> and 30 more for <cleints> and so on, giving thousands of results when there are only 400 machines in the domain. Can someone tell me why SMS is doing this, and how I can make it so only one client name is returned per machine??

thanks in advance

Maybe you're linking to a table that has multiple entries? In SMS 2.0, this used to happen to me I think if I used the IP Address Table and System Resource (I think those are the right names) - since the IP table might have had multiple entries for a client. Maybe if you post your query we can help?
