Sysprep - Skip the Product Key Wizard

I've sysprep'd my Windows7 Pro image and uploaded to K2000. Whenever I deploy the image, no matter what I put into the UNATTEND.XML, the product key wizard screen pops up on first boot.

I've tried activating later, using MAK & KMS keys, and a KMS server with no joy. Is there a way of skipping this wizard?

  • this:
    <SynchronousCommand wcm:action="add">
    <Description>Windows License Key</Description>
    <Order>1</Order>
    <CommandLine>cscript %SystemRoot%\system32\slmgr.vbs -skms SERVER_NAME_GOES_HERE.COM</CommandLine>
    <RequiresUserInput>false</RequiresUserInput>
    </SynchronousCommand>

    actually is the licensing part but it's wrong!

    windows wants <productkey>pkey</productkey> for the license key in unattend.xml

    neither sysprep tool or k2000 wizard (scripting install) set this correctly in unattend.xml - n1md4 6 years ago
