Unable to ping with the machine name

I have a windows server core machine.

This is deployed in some ESX machine, which details are not revealed to us as I can just connect it with the IP address.

When I connect to the office network, my laptop: I am able to ping the server core machine and vice-versa.

I am able to ping the server machine from other machines also and also I can ping other machines from the server machine.

But problem is, one particular machine is there which I can ping from the other machines with its name.

But with the server core machine I mentioned, I am not able to ping it with machine name but only with the IP address.

How to resolve this??
