Uninstallation Issue
Hi There,
I am repackaging an application for which I have faced an issue regarding Uninstallation,
If the application is installed and uninstalled without launching the appication shortcuts,It will uninstall completely.IF the application is launched and the unistallation is done then only one feature (Main) is unistalled and the rest of three features are not getting uninstalled,
Kindlly help me out to solve this issue
Cheers,
Akramulla

Maybe I misunderstand but, if you're re-packaging it, how the *current* uninstall works (or not) is irrelevant, isn't it? Once you have an MSI, it should install and uninstall just fine. However, since you mention that uninstalling retains certain features, I figure the current installation is already in MSI format. Can you clarify, please?

try writing this value to the registry during uninstall
HKLM\Software\test\REMOVE = [REMOVE]
or log the uninstall and check that value. This will indicate if all features are marked to uninstall or not.
do you get any installation activity when you execute the app for the first time ? seems like an interesting problem.
