What are the basic things to be done after receiving the source for repackaging

Please help me with the steps that we have to do after receiving the source at the time of repackaing an application using Admin Studio.

  • I came to know that i have to check whether the source that is exe have msi in it or not and i'm a bit confused about how well come to know by opening it with winrar
    im didn't understand the second step that is if i try to install the exe with/? i'll get parameters and how cum i know whether it is having msi or not

    A small doubt after creating transform i'll do all customization in MST and installl that MSt along with the msi through msiexec/i (path of msi) TRANSFORMS = (path of mst)

    Then what i have to do, i mean what i have to give to the vendor, both the msi and mst. - vinodreddy10 11 years ago
