What does 'Order' in managed installs mean?

Hello all,

Could someone explain the meaning of 'Order' and the variables (ex. 10) within a managed installation? I can't seem to find any articles referencing the option, so if someone wouldn't mind linking as a reference or a quick explanation, I would appreciate it.

Put simply this is the order in which Managed Installations will be started by the K1000, in a similar way to old school Basic programming 10 is high and then you would number something like 20, 30 , 40 etc this is also the same as Ticket rule orders. So if multiple MI's are pushed to a machine it will start 10 first then 20 etc

Just be aware though it is the order they are started in, if you want multiple MI's to run on a machine it may start the 10 job and then not be finished before next checkin forces 20 to start which means the second job may fail.

If you want more control I would advise nesting your MI's in a script using logic to test that the first has completed before KACE starts the second etc etc.
