Discontinued Support for the 11th Generation PowerEdge server platform (11g) for the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) and KACE Systems Deployment Appliance (SDA)

All support for 11g physical hardware for both the KACE SDA and SMA will end with versions 8.1 and  5.1 respectively. The 11th Generation PowerEdge server platform will no longer be supported with the KACE SMA & SDA appliances.

The target dates for end of support are January, 2018 for SDA and March, 2018 for SMA.


If you are still running the appliance software on the PowerEdge 11g hardware platform, please contact your KACE Sales Representative to plan for a hardware refresh or conversion to a virtual appliance.

Initiate contact with a Systems Deployment Appliance (SDA) specialist

  • Hi KenG, It would have been nice to get a bit more notice than this for the Kace SDA. Has Kace informed anyone previously to this? and if so I never received any information regarding this so as we can budget accordingly for a replacement appliance. - babagee 3 years ago
