So there is lots of hype around the ability to manage Windows RT/Mobile devies and in all reality its just that, HYPE.

One of the biggest, best known MDM provider states the ability to manage Windows RT but it only abilites are:

• Inventory
• Location Services

Now if you’re willing to, implement additional Microsoft services such as PowerShell and Exchange 2013/2010, or Office 365 than you can in addition accomplish the following.

• Push a passcode profile
• Perform an enterprise wipe which once again is very limited because, nothing is really managed.

Another well known often refered to as free only currently has support for windows mobile device, and even with that in mind only has the ability to:

• Inventory
• Location Services

Let's face it, vendors are making alot of claims right now about their ability to manage windows mobile devices and its true they have some abilities, but I encourage everyone to step back and really consider one important thing, NO ONE CAN REALLY DO MORE THEN SEE WINDOWS MOBILE DEVICES as of now!
