WSUS (though SCCM 2007) and Internet Explorer 10 "Update not required"

Hi,

Anyone know how to force the Internet explorer 10 installation (and updates) through Wsus updates.

I'm using w7 machines and already have a "offline" installation packages, but I now see it could be done though Wsus as well.

I find all my targetted clients sayinf 'update is not required" and they won't install.

Any ideas on "forcing" them through Wsus?

regards....

  • it seems that our clients "patch state" was the issue.
First update-ing the clients with all the most recent updates, allowed for the installation of IE 10,.
The "normal" pre-requisits of ie10 were not enough. - joeltje 10 years ago
