6.1 Image Progress Bar

So I noticed after the update to 6.1 when deploying or capturing an image, we no longer get the progress bar for when the WIM is deploying. Instead, we now get a constant " scrolling" display box that does not show how far the WIM deployment is. I'm hoping this is just a setting I could change. I liked that I could see how far the WIM deployment was instead of now just having it scrolling across with no way to determing how far in deploying the WIM it is. I'm probably not using the right words to describe this, so attached is the new bar for when capturing or deploying a WIM. Thanks for your help.

  • The old progress bar did a poor job of updating and showing you truly where the capture/deploy process was and many thought that the deployment failed because nothing was happening in the progress bar. Then PE10 1809 was released and the progress bar would cause a capture/deploy to fail almost immediately. To not delay the 6.1 release, a new progress bar was implemented quickly so that there was one and PE1809 could be used. In 7.0, the progress bar will be changed again to better represent the process. - cserrins 5 years ago
    • Sounds good. Appreciate it. Deploying for us was actually pretty accurate, but know what you are referring to regarding capturing not updating. Any ballpark time frame on 7.0 release? thanks - bryantjb 5 years ago
