.AIR Application (not from Adobe) . Auto Update Suppress.

Iam working with an .air application. Its not from adobe. When I launch the shortcut, It displays the update screen. There are 2 .xml Files in the appdata folder . There are no update.exe , no update properties. I checked with the log file. It adds a property "UpdateStarted =1" and then deletes it too. I tried adding a registry in the HKLM\Software\policy , it did not work..Could any one suggest on how to suppress this update?
