Automate Firefox bookmarks migration
Hello all,
I'm having some issues with Firefox and the startup import wizard.
It's not the usual, "I need to disable the wizard"
My customer wants the bookmarks, history, data and start page stuff to be migrated from IE to firefox automatically, without user interaction.
I thought this would be easy enough with a setting in about:config that would easily be transferred to the prefs.js file.
It's not... I've been searching the net and the about:config for this setting now for hours without success.
Anyone done this successfully?

We did it using sendkeys in vbscript,but it was long ago,it can be a workaround but I would be really interested to know a solution to this

Are you using the Frontmotion MSI installer? Because I believe they use mozilla.adm or firefox.adm files that allow you to control these behaviours with policy. Not entirely sure on the exact implementation, or if they can only be used with their Firefox installer, but have a look on their site perhaps..
