Ayone know all the options to copy a set of RIS images to all RIS Servers?

I know about replicaion.. and it seems we keep getting some corruption in the flat images. Seems like a few files were missing in the RIPrep images too. I figure I can rebuild the slipstreamed flat image and make this work but I want to hear other options copying RIS from one server to the others.

I read something about xcopy.exe and set a time to copy them onto other servers. Anyone use this?

I tried putting them on a backup tape and restoring it to the other servers but I got some weird problems with them.

At the moment I'm going to try to attempt to do a file backup and then copy it onto a laptop. Then take it to the site and restore that backup file to see if that works.

Anyone try these or have done something else? I find RIS nicer then GHOST as I don't have to worry about old cd-roms on the old PCS and I like how RIS will tell you if the ACPI doesn't match. Plus it's easier to add oem drivers on the fly to RIS images where I have to completely redo ghost.

You can use DFS to replicate the files to other servers,
you also can set replication times so this can happen out of peak network usage hours.

Yeah, we actually ended up using that. We noticed the flat images don't replicate successfully but I guess that makes sense. So we just replicate the riprep images and recreate the flat image from the same slip-streamed Win2k cd image.

Thanks for your reply though.
