Blacklisting a specific application associated with a specific smart label.

So I have a smart label that is created for a specific group of laptops. I want to be able to set a specific piece of software as not allowed on a this group of laptops, and allow it on others.

Using this guide: https://support.quest.com/kace-systems-management-appliance/kb/126771/how-to-blacklist-applications-using-the-sma

I've been able to add the applicationcontroldevices label to each of the system but I was wondering if there is a better way that I can do this dynamically?

Is there a way to associate the smart label of the laptops with the applicaitoncontroldevices label? What would happen if I had two applications and two laptop groups, how would this work?  Example laptop group A that I wanted to allow application 1 and disallow application 2 in this group. Then in laptop group B but disallow application 1 and allow applicaiton 2 in this group?

There is no better way of doing this, as the blocking is set at an application level, not at a machine level. So if you choose to block a piece of software it will be blocked across your complete estate.
