I replaced the original mapping program with the google maps syntaxt below but the maps still apear to be from teh old program.  I have rebooted the K3000 but the old maps remain.

http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/json&lat=[lat]&lon=[lon]&zoom=18&addressdetails=1

I believe Google would charge. They prob wont make that link public as they want to make money, hence the open geocode URL K3 comes with.

I bet if you searched "google maps geocode link" in your favorite search engine you could find what you are looking for ;)
