Why don't you use ProcessMon to identify the exact issue.. and troubleshoot..

Hello, 
To answer your question in very simple word, its quite difficult to predict if an application can be proceeded for thinapp or not. 
ThinApp is just like other virtualization technologies. So the bounds of other virtualization technologies also apply to ThinApp, like DCOM entries, printer drivers, shell extension. I would suggest , take a snapshot of the application either by using installrite or prism and you will come to know if it can be proceeded for thinapp or not.

  • hi yaaaar actually i tried to do thinapp for this application. aftre creating thinApp when i tried to launch the shortcuts nothing is cming even an error. Thats why i put a question like this . Let me know what you meant by this shell extensions. - nandagopal 11 years ago
