Can we use Kace to force a screen saver to be enabled on Mac machines?

Hi,

I am not too familiar with Mac OS so I am not sure how to enable the screen saver on the Mac.  Can we force the screen saver to be applied on Macs in the same way that we apply a screen saver group policy in Windows?

Can we enable an enforcement policy somehow through Kace to enable screensaver to be applied to Macs?

Managing settings on macOS is best done with Profiles. You can read a little about profiles here:

The K1000 supports profiles under the Scripting area of the appliance. I recommend checking the relevant portion of the administrator guide: https://support.quest.com/technical-documents/kace-sma/7.2/administrator-guide/157#TOPIC-733908

There are also some great resources out there for profiles. I frequently check GitHub as there are folks that post them, here's an example: https://github.com/nmcspadden/Profiles

A great tool for creating profiles is mcxToProfile: https://github.com/timsutton/mcxToProfile
This allows you to convert an existing plist file into a profile that can be distributed.
