cant find tickets with a number greater than 1999 (Help)

a strange one. We now have something more than 2200 tickets in the database and yet when you type any number greater than 1999 in the search box on the top right of the view it will not find the ticket. It will find and single out 1999 but wont work for 2000 or any number north of there.

Well it turned out to be simple but not obvious. If the number was 2000 or 2100 it would not find it. If the ticket number was 2101 it found it. If you put a leading zero in front of 2100 then it would find it. Why? it does not display the leading zero in the view (the field is 12 characters TICK:2100 )

normally you would not need to put the leading Zero (especially if it is a round number on the 100's
