Changing keyboard layout
Hi! When I open VLC Player the keyboard layout is changed to my native language (RU) and I want to stay in English. Can I set the keyboard layout to stay in English?

Thank you for your reply, I've tried that before, but this is not what I need.
It's not related to the subtitle, it's on the taskbar of a computer and I already suspect that it's not in the settings of the VLC.
By the way, I've thought that that setting that you pointed on has to establish an English subtitle by default at least but this does not work out also. Maybe I've used it wrong. - bony07 3 years ago
