Configuring flash updates

We need to make sure that our Adobe Flash installs have their updates automated through KACE - any suggestions or guidelines on what needs to be done to set this up?

Many thanks!

  • You're going to trust Adobe to update your workstations as and when it likes?!?! Best of luck with that... - anonymous_9363 9 years ago

There are two methods you can use:
1. Setup a patch schedule that includes the Adobe updates. Depending on when your K1000 is set to download patches there may be a delay from when Adobe releases them and when they get through Lumension then to your K1000.

2. Get a Flash distribution license and download the installers and use managed installs to push them out. This method is more work intensive for you but if you are on top of when Adobe releases an update you can theoretically get it rolling out to your clients the same day.
