Copy tickets to another queue

Hello,

I am creating a test queue in our K1000 to safely run custom ticket rules in. I would like to copy all of our current tickets into the test queue so that I can have a large set of real data to test with.

How would I accomplish this?

Thank you,

You cannot copy, you are only able to move the ticket.

To move tickets in bulk go to the ServiceDesk>Tickets are a in your SMA to display your default ticket list view

From the Queues dropdown select the queue that you want to move the tickets out of

Next select the tickets you wish to move by ticking the box against each in the left hand column

Select Choose Action>Move to Queue> select the queue to move the tickets into

For this, I would recommend a dev server. If this is kace SMA, your license allows for a dev server. Simply create a VM, install same version of kace you are running now and do a restore to it.  Make DAMN sure you are not allowing your dev server to send or receive email before you bring it up.. do not try and bring it up and manually go in and turn off email.

Even though you are considering a queue for this, a rule can impact ALL of your queues if not done right.  Ask me how I know.
