Creating a bootable usb for UEFI
Hi,
I am trying to boot into the k2000 with an uefi PC.
I found this article explaining the process:

I've created a USB using the install.exe, but the USB gets recognised as a legeacy boot option.
I've tried both the NTFS and the fat32/uefi option.
What am i missing here?

Should point you in the right direction - your boot/build/KACE build junk needs to be EFI supported.

Hi,
I know it's an old post, but just for anyone that face this problem recently:
I faced the same problem. When I booted in UEFI, I was able to go to the bios and select the "add Boot option" and see the USB, but it was asking for the file name and I was so confused about which file I should select.
The problem was I was using a 64G USB drive and didn't consider it's so big for Fat32 formatting.
So I changed my USB to an 8G and it worked like a charm! also, you should wait till the end of the process of formatting by the installer.exe, it would show a message that is completed. It will change the drive name to k2000 and is ready to go after that message.
Though i am not trying to deploy an image, but a scripted install.. Does this matter?
If i were to deploy through a legacy mode, it would be done like this right?:
1. Set bios to legacy
2. Run Kace2000 rutines
3. change bios back to uefi (before post installs i assume?) - bok 7 years ago
