Deploy IMAP settings to Outlook for Mac 2011 via K1000
Hi,
Can anyone advise on a KACE/script method to silent deploy IMAP settings (for a test mailbox) to an existing Outlook for Mac 2011 installation on a Mac?
The settings to deploy are:
- email address
- password
- username
- type: IMAP
- incoming server
- override default port:
- use SSL
- outgoing server
- override default port:
- use SSL
It appears these settings are stored in /Users/Username/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity/Data Records/Mail Accounts/0T/0B/0M/0K but this generated file is hashed to protect the password information.
All info I've found so far relates to deploying the actual Office application and then connecting to a MS Exchange server, neither of which are applicable in this case. I just want users to open their existing Outlook application and see the test mailbox configured.
