Delete the file FF will recreate when started

I remove all the files I can from my profile for imaging and for mozilla FF I delete two things, one is C:\Users\installer\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\blaetn5c.default\places.sqlite and all files under C:\Users\installer\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\blaetn5c.default they get recreated when you open FF again.  Then that profile gets copied to default user for all to use

The bookmarks are stored in a file bookmarks.html under the profile.  You can force all users to use the same FF profile directory hash by placing the roaming mozilla folder under default users profile then you can place the file in that dir under the default user.  This will allow you to create your bookmarks on a different machine and place the so all users then get it.  Also if the user profiles are not being deleted from the TS this will give you the same path for all users to FF under their profile and allow you to use active setup to replace that file in the future

  • If you have existing user profiles on the TS you will need to replace their roaming mozilla folder so they all switch to the new directory structure hash name. - SMal.tmcc 11 years ago
  • I have over 10000 Users and want that the import of the existing user generated Bookmarks from IE will be joined / imported to the FF bookmarks.html once or with a batch that i can run sometimes.

The point is that I need to unattanded making the following steps into FF.... Bookmarks...--> Show All Bookmarks --> Imort and Backup -->Import Data from another Browser --> Microsoft Internet Explorer-->Next --> Selected Options...."Favorites" -->Next -->Finish - rovo2013 11 years ago
