Has anyone used the Lync Server 2010 trial and upgraded to the full standard edition?
I am planning to uninstall the trial tonight and install the full version which my company purchased before our 180-day trial runs out. If anyone has also done this, I'd sure appreciate any pointers if anything unexpected happened during your upgrade process.
For those who have not used this product or the trial, it works a little different than most trial-to-full processes that I've ever done. Instead of just entering a license key and going about your business, apparently (according to Microsoft) you have to uninstall the server software, then install the full version.
My main concern is that I will have to rebuild a lot of settings, but I have performed backups of the core data, topology, etc. already.

I ran a few projects that required us to first pilot, then deploy Lync 2010. This is the process I used to upgrade.

Thanks, matthall. We have completed our upgrade now. I'll just add that the Technet article can be kind of confusing, because it does not say you need to insert the Lync Server installation CD and navigate there from the powershell first.
