help deploying a software
i need help deploying Git version 2.6.2 and vagrant software via Dell Kace 1000
i have never used K1000 to upload and deploy software. is there any way i can get a how to from the experts?

Do the following:
1. install the software on one test machine
2. run a manual inventory on this machine. This creates a software item
3. go to the MI Detail page, uncheck "Only Display Records With an Associated File"
4. choose the created software item (see 2.)
5. upload the payload and fill out all fields. - Nico_K 8 years ago-

There are many examples here for creating managed installs. If you are new to the K1000 then I highly suggest that you read the administrator manual. For deploying software I find it best to use a managed install. In the admin console click Distribution to get to the Managed Installs section. Check the documentation by clicking the ? in the upper right corner.
Dell also has videos available through the Kace Kontinuing Education series of videos, also known as KKEs.
