Help setting ClassPath environment variables

I can deploy java via SCCM to the point where the application gets there and works but it is a basic push with no switches etc. I am new to all this I want Java -version from CMD to give me the installed version. I have CLASSPATH = %Windows%/jre/lib and JAVA_Home = C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin.

Even if I get this resolved I have to deploy to all users. So part two of the question would be, is there a way during deployment of Java 7u17 to establish the path or generate the required return. Management wants a patching procedure and i got tagged :-)

just create the MST for the Java MSI and add these environment variables. (SYSTEM)

with the ProductVersion Property as a value.

2 minute work
