How are you notifying end-users patches are complete for their remote machine?
We have a large number of work from home users and every month it is a struggle to complete patches.
Using the K1000 we have the procedure set to push out the patches, but there isn't a "You're done for the month" notification.
How are you letting your users know they are complete? Is there a way to automate a notification or is the best way just to watch their machine and email them manually when it's finished?

I would go the other way around:
Patch as normal and having a monthly report for missing patches and if a system fails, notify them individually.
That's essentially how we are currently doing it Sir. I was hoping someone had figured a way through this and could share their brilliance.

understand, but I need to say: I don't like emails "all ok", emails with "there is a problem" I don't like either, but THESE emails are interesting enough to read and not only to delete. - Nico_K 3 months ago
So here is some SQL to get you started in the right direction. This query shows all Devices that do not have a patch missing and have run a schedule successfully within the last 30 days
PATCH_SCHEDULE_MACHINE_STATUS.NOTPATCHED = 0 AND
(((TIMESTAMP(PATCH_SCHEDULE_MACHINE_STATUS.LAST_RUN) <= NOW() AND TIMESTAMP(PATCH_SCHEDULE_MACHINE_STATUS.LAST_RUN) > DATE_SUB(NOW(),INTERVAL 30 DAY))))
You could of course use this as a smart label, so any machines that have patched completely within the last 30 days are in the label. The next step would be to work out how to send an email to each machine user in the label.
