  • Could you expain what you are trying to do and I'll try to help.
  • Here's my issue... I'm in the middle of a Sophos antivirus upgrade throughout my enterprise. The VAR consultant was not able to migrate our database over cleanly from the old sql server to the new sql server and the old sophos console is dead. We have stood up a new sophos console to replace the old console. Long story short is that we have a vbs script that needs to be run on the endpoints in order to redirect them to the new Sophos antivirus console. This vbs script is called up by a batch file and we were attempting to do a gpo, it's requiring UAC on the win7, on xp it looks like it is working takes way too long as a login script. So I wanted to create package install gpo of the vbs and batch file to cause the vbs script to run.

Ultimately all I want to do is run the vbs script and get around UAC on about 5,000 end points spread at multiple sites in my domain.

You can use Wise Package studio or MSI studio to build the MSI. after creating an MSI you have to write a execute command to execute the batch file while installing the MSI.
