How do I install adobe flash

what is the silent switch to install adobe flash

  • I use the exe's that are available for the public and then I add the -install -au2 at the end.
    "%~dp0install_flash_player.exe -install -au 2"

    I don't remember where I got that from, but it has been very useful to me for the past few versions of Flash. - facekickr 9 years ago

/install works just fine for the .exe installer.

Install the new version with "msiexec /i "installfile" /quiet /passive /norestart /l* "logfile". The "installfile" is the install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.msi. After that copy the cfg-file to "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash". The cfg file is a sipmple txt-file with the to parameters "AutoUpdateInterval=0" and "AutoUpdateDisable=1" what disable the automatic update.
