How often should you run "amptools clearcache" on client machines?

Often times I have fixed computers not automatically updating their inventory with the K1000 by running the "amptools clearcache" command followed by "runkbot 4 0".

I'm thinking of either creating a group policy startup script or a group policy preferences scheduled task to periodically run the command, but I don't know how often I should run the command.

Or is there a way to disable the K1000 agent cache? What would the drawbacks be? Slower inventory?

this should never be nessesary.
If a client is not checking in this may have many causes, i.e. if the kbot 4 fixes it, it is likely that the queue on the appliance is full.
You should analyze this first.
