Your better off downloading Insted instead of ORCA it's a bit more friendly and shows you the relationships between the rows in the tables.
The idea would be to change whatever you need in the msi and then generate the transform.
In your case this probably would be adding or changing a Property in the property table

As VBScab said
"You can create MST by using ORCA.
Open your MSI in ORCA and goto Transform -> New Tarnsform. Save your changes."
or as timmsie said and use Insted.

Would recommend setting the MSI to read only to avoid accidentally changing the MSI itself. - EdT 5 years ago

ORIGINAL: zipsantroSantro, Only a sadist would suggest that someone new to packaging should use Orca to create a transform. Orca is a tool for use by people who know what they're doing.

Pavan (NewToWise), why on earth do you NOT want to use Install Tailor?
what packaging software are you using?Morbius, Seriously? I thought I was the only one who didn't read posts properly. Check the OP's nickname. :)

If you don't want to use Install Tailor and you are not too familiar with Orca just yet, then there is another way:
- Launch Wise and start Windows Installer Editor.
- If it doesn't show you the 'New Installation File' window, then click New in the Menu. The New Installation File window pops up now.
- Select Other Templates, select Transform and click OK.
- You get prompted to select your MSI, do so and click Open.
- Make changes and save your MST.
Good Luck.
