How to customise MS Access 2010?

I have the copy of MS Access 2010 and need to customise it to suit my company environment. However, the downloaded copy is a .exe instead of .MSI. I have use the setup.exe/admin to customised it and when I save the file, it's automatically go to .msp. I'm unable to execute the .msp, understand it's only a patch. How could I repackage the full version of MS Access 2010 (setup.exe + .MSP) ? How can I convert it to .MSI?

Answer Summary:
Place the patch in the 'Updates' folder. SETUP.EXE will pick up and apply any patches it finds in that folder.

I'm doing a simular task. I used the setup.exe /admin to customize access and then zipped up all the content. Upload the zip file to the kbox and try this command. "setup.exe" /adminfile "nameofyourfile.msp".

With the Office product, Microsoft changed the concept of Windows Installer patching. Quite what was wrong with MSI+MST I have no idea.

You need to place the patch in the 'Updates' folder.  SETUP.EXE will pick up and apply any patches it finds in that folder.

I suggest some reading on MSDN/Technet would do you a power of good.
