How to disable tip of the day option for Helios textpad 6.1.3?
Please help me with how disable tip of the day option for Helios textpad 6.1.3?
I have addede a key under HKCU\Software\Helios\TextPad\Tips
Reg_Dword Key
name = StartUp
data = 1
But, It's of no use.
Please suggest me.

with version 4 there was a space and number after "textpad" you should confirm if the keyset is "testpad" or "testpad 6"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Helios\TextPad4\Tips]
"StartUp"=dword:00000001
also this will work for only the user this was installed with since it is HKCU.

Add the below registry key and check
HKCU\Software\Helios\TextPad 6\Tips
Name: StartUp
Type: Reg_DWord
Data: 1

Hi Jagadeish,
It's of no use.
But, I found that it updates an xml file in %appdata%\roaming\Helios\Textpad\6
If we keep that xml file then it will not show the tips.
Please help me how to add this file that needs to install in that location.
I created a new component and i don't have that location to choose in destination.
Do I need to create the folder from files and folder and then i ineed to browse if so how to create it?
