How to modify K1000 Helpdesk variables

Hi,

I'm using the K1000 but in a french canadian enterprise. When the users get alerted by email about some modifications made on their tickets, I use the variable $change_desc so they can see the modifications.

The thing is that this variable shows the modifications in english.

Example of the use of $change_desc:

----- Change by admin at 10/15/2015 14:02:08 -----

Changed ticket Status from "New" to "Opened". Changed ticket Owner from "Unassigned" to "Technician 1"


Is it possible to modify the variable $change_desc ?

  • Hi, I think there's no french version for the 6.4 version of the box. But it's ok. I'll deal with the english message. - dccadieux 8 years ago

Is the technician is fixed I mean you want to always assign to "Technician 1" or do you want it round robin basis to multiple technicians in the queue?

You can use customer rules...

In short, No, it is not possible to display in French unless the box is switched to French language, in which case it will not show any data in english
