Someone can help me?
I need to prepare a package with my VB6 application and the Oracle Client
How can i distribute the Oracle client without any operation of the user?

You can package the Oracle client as a package of its own. Oracle creates homes for itself and its a very easy app to repackage. It doesnt drop sany system32 files and you only have to make sure that you capture the PATH environment variable correctly.

I also suggest that you create a config package for it to contain the Oracle tnsnames.ora file and also any DSN's you want installed. This saves you having to remove and reinstall the whole package as you add new servers to connect to.

i am new in Oracle Technology.I have an application VB6 based on Oracle 9i.I would like to distribuite this application without all the Oracle client.The end-user is not able to install and configure the Oracle and the .Net Manager.
Can I distribute theVB application and some Oracle DLL to make it works?Or is it mandatory that the user's PC has all the Oracle software?
In positive case, which DLL or file i must put in the distribution package?
