Is anyone using RayPack and what do you think of it?

I can't find any recent discussions on this although I know similar topics have been discussed historically.

I am currently reviewing and trialling RayPack for a company that doesn't have the budget for Flexera AdminStudio. I have found it to be pretty good. I'm not doing any App-V stuff although this might be a requirement in the future.

Has anyone got any experience with this product or have a strong positive opinion about a cheaper alternative to AdminStudio?

I all my previous roles we did have AdminStudio and yes it is great but this particular company can't afford it.

I'm pretty nervous about promoting RayPack as I have no prior knowledge of it.

Thank you.

Hi Monkey,
first off as I work for Raynet (the company that is behind RayPack) some of my opinions may be slightly biased, but if there is anything specific you would like to know, then go ahead and just ask and I'll do my bets to answer them.

Cheers

Have you looked at Pace? Or InstallAware? Advanced Installer?

Hi Phil

Thanks for the offer, I am currently trialling RayPack and am in correspondence with RayNet already. I was really looking for some independent reviews.

Thanks VBScab, I haven't tried those products but I will take a look.
